         What is the slip ring?

• Definition of slip ring

  This is a device which give electrical signal, data, power, etc through wire connected stator and rotor

• Variety of Slip rings.

-Brush type: This is most used type. It is used for power and signal. But, it is not suitable for sending data due to a lot of contact resistance and noise.

​-Wire type: This type is used for sending signal in a high speed rotation but not for high current.

-​Pancake type: This type is possible to install in narrow space where the point of contact can be arranged side to side.

​-Non-contacting slip ring: This is electrical way to transform capacitance to electrical signal with 0.01-0.2mm space on each brushes. It is the best slip ring technologies.

-​Multi-union: This type is a combination of slip ring and rotary joints to send electricity and air (gas, pressure)

• Applied fields

-Supply power into the rotor for huge cargo and crane, particularly, Jip crane or Tower crane

​-It can be used for stage equipment, auto-revolving door, LED power, control device, Mic device and so on.

​-It can be applied in various field such as CCTV Dome Camera, food packing, Reel, Robot, underwater examination.
